Ashley told the board the final plat for the Squaw Creek project has been filed with the county clerk. She said staff will present a resolution to publish in the legal newspaper in February and aims for a public hearing in March. Ashley recommended including a contingency clause in the RFP so preliminary work can proceed while the county completes required approvals.
Roads staff and planning staff discussed easement outreach; Mike said they had notified property owners about easements, received a few but not a majority, and expect additional notice and opportunities for owners to appear before the board. Ashley and Paul will meet to reconcile plats and easement alignments and to create new easements where needed; staff said the goal is to have documents ready in the coming months to move to bid and complete construction in summer if possible.
No final decisions were made beyond scheduling and coordination tasks; staff will continue easement outreach and prepare the resolution for publication.
