Lafayette City board approves sewer, engineering and procurement items; schedules Creasy Lane bids

The Lafayette City Board on Jan. 7 approved a series of contracts and routine actions, including a recommendation to award the 2025 Sewer Rehabilitation project to Inliner Solutions and authorization to advertise a Creasy Lane resurfacing project.
Brad Talley of Lafayette Renew told the board he recommended awarding the sewer rehabilitation contract to Inliner Solutions after bids were opened Jan. 6; Talley said Inliner’s bid was $834,968 and the work covers roughly 17,000 feet of cured-in-place sewer pipe plus smaller diameter lines. The board moved and approved the award by voice vote; staff noted a missing drug-testing policy had since been received for the winning bidder.
