Because details were incomplete, the legislative body did not vote on a contract. Chair and staff set a follow‑up meeting for early February to allow additional review and possible contract negotiation. The chair urged commissioners and interested members of the public to attend the Feb. 3 (later confirmed) meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Mayor's Office; organizers said they would consider a different venue if attendance is expected to be large.
