The Economic Development Authority opened the Jan. 20 meeting, confirmed a quorum and approved a slate of officers proposed by the chair: the existing chair (unnamed), Steve as vice chair and Andy as treasurer. The slate was seconded and approved by roll call/voice vote.
The authority also moved to readopt its remote electronic participation policy with no changes; the motion was seconded and approved on roll call. The board discussed meeting calendar items and adopted the proposed meeting dates, including a virtual meeting set for Feb. 5 at 4 p.m.
The minutes of the Nov. 18 and Dec. 16 meetings were moved, seconded and approved as amended (one name correction). With no further business, the board scheduled follow‑up items and adjourned the session.
The EDA’s next scheduled meetings are Feb. 5 (virtual) and a later February meeting on the usual cadence.
