Council approves transfer of Snow King Resort liquor license to new ownership

Jackson, Wyo. — The Town Council approved a transfer of the Snow King Resort resort liquor license to CP Teton Resort Property Owner LLC following a public hearing on Nov. 17. Staff recommended approval after reviewing the application and plan of operations, and no protests were filed.
Staff explained the transfer is required because the resort ownership changed; the plan of operations submitted with the application indicates the resort will continue to operate restaurants, banquet/catering services, in‑room minibars and marketplace operations under the new owner. Staff noted the town’s public‑welfare factors under Wyoming statute and explained issuance of the license is conditioned on required town permits and any minor corrections as necessary in the Wyoming division review.
Jacob Beckett, representing the applicant, thanked staff for their work and said the new ownership team is excited to be part of the community. Councilor Schechter moved to approve the transfer subject to the conditions enumerated in Wyoming statute 12‑4‑103 and other local requirements; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously. The council then closed the public hearing and instructed staff on next steps to finalize issuance once conditions are met.
