Instructional committee backs Calendar Version 3 and will recommend it to full board

A committee member asked whether a pending bill to require school starts after Labor Day could change the plan; staff said districts already starting after Labor Day adjust holidays to shift days back into June and that the district would accommodate such a law should it be enacted.
After discussion the committee moved to recommend Calendar Version 3 to the full board; the motion carried and the recommendation will be forwarded to the full Concord School Board in October for formal adoption.
