Richmond County approves February appropriations, notes FY27 budget work

During the meeting staff noted current and planned CIP spending, mentioning that CIP funds paid $18,006.81 toward replacement carpet in a school library. The county also distributed materials on the FY27 budget calendar and said staff had begun working with departments and third parties on proposals requested for next fiscal year; some state-driven changes that will affect local budgeting were also flagged.
