Chelsea council OKs surplus property auctions and renews mapping services contract

Council approved Resolutions 13-40 and 13-41, declaring a Parks & Recreation hard drive and a 1996 Ford bucket truck surplus. The council indicated those items will be posted on govdeals.com for auction.
The council also approved Resolution 13-42, authorizing the mayor to execute Task Order 248 with Shelby County for GIS mapping services. Mayor Cody Saunders said the task order represents a yearly renewal for $20,000. The motion to approve the mapping services authorization passed by voice vote.
No dissent or recorded amendments were made during the motions. The auction and contract renewal were presented as routine administrative actions during the council business portion of the meeting.
