He also read that the board would place the superintendent on a retroactive step effective 07/01/2025, that the superintendent would receive one-time general compensation in the amount of $3,000, a $13,005 arrangement/program contribution available to other full-time district management employees, and a monthly vehicle stipend of $300 to defray personal-vehicle use for district business.
Board members moved and seconded the item and President Cole called for the vote. The transcript record shows President Cole announcing, "All of those in favor, please say aye," and later recording the result as "The vote was 5 0 2." During discussion before the vote Missus Crandall offered brief remarks praising the superintendent's leadership, saying, "Everyone knows her expertise and excellence in this field."
