Board grants extensions for two Favero Mestre cases so multiple permits can be filed together

The Municipal Code Enforcement Board on Jan. 14 granted 30-day extensions to allow consolidated permit submissions for two cases involving Eddie Favero Mestre (case numbers 25-2911 and 25-4048).
Counsel Karina Fuller told the board that her client must submit five different permits (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and structural), and that Temple Terrace’s process requires the permits be submitted together. Fuller said one contractor—the electrician—was out of the country and would not return until the end of the month; once he returned the complete set of permits could be submitted.
When asked, the city’s inspector said staff could review the materials and, assuming no problems, approve them before the board’s next meeting. The board approved separate motions to extend the compliance deadlines for both cases to Feb. 11, 2026.
What happens next: Respondent’s counsel must submit the required permits as a package and notify city staff. If permits or corrections are not completed by Feb. 11, the original fines and enforcement timeline will resume.
