Two Rainbow Drive properties found in compliance; board imposes no fines

The Municipal Code Enforcement Board on Jan. 14 entered findings that two properties owned by related entities (JGC Second LLC and JGC 2 LLC) were in compliance with cited minimum-housing and related code sections.
Code Compliance Officer Doug Allen said both matters originated from earlier inspections showing debris, boarded windows, roof and exterior disrepair, and other minimum-housing concerns. Allen told the board he conducted reinspections and submitted photographic evidence and affidavits indicating the sites had been brought into compliance prior to the hearing.
Counsel for the respondents stood on the submitted evidence and asked the board to enter a finding of no violation and impose no penalties. The board approved motions finding no violations and assessing no fines for both case numbers (25-3063 and 25-3064).
What happens next: The board warned that if the properties return to noncompliance they will be treated as repeat violations, with higher fines and penalties.
