The Yuma Elementary District governing board elected Keith Ware president and David Ibarra vice president at its Jan. 13 meeting, and voted to keep regular meetings at 5:45 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.
Board members opened nominations under a cited rule the transcript records as “ALS 15 dash 3 21 b.” A board member nominated Keith Ware for president; the nominee accepted and the board approved the nomination by voice vote. David Ibarra was nominated for vice president, accepted the nomination and the board approved that election by voice vote.
The board also moved to adopt the published meeting agenda without discussion and approved the consent agenda of routine items by voice vote. No items were pulled for separate consideration.
The actions leave the district with its current meeting schedule and newly elected officers for the coming term. The board noted no other immediate changes to committee assignments during the meeting.
The next regular meeting remains scheduled for 5:45 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the district administration office; the board did not alter that schedule during the session.
