The Revere City Traffic Commission handled multiple handicap-parking applications during its Jan. 15 meeting, sending several items to public hearing, tabling one for missing documentation, and denying a second application.
The commission moved the application for 27 Avon Street to public hearing after staff review indicated it appeared complete. The 31 Bay Road application lacked medical documentation and proof of an active placard; the commission voted to table that application. The 11 Wave Avenue and 59 Coolidge Street applications were advanced to public hearing; staff noted 59 Coolidge included a housing authority letter supporting a sign installation. The commission denied the 53 Payson Street request after staff said the applicant was not the primary driver and multiple driveways served the home; the commission voted to deny pending additional paperwork.
Actions taken will be revisited at public hearings, and staff advised applicants may submit additional documentation for reconsideration.
