Separately, the court authorized the county attorney to send a demand letter to the law firm Johnson Petrove LLP, the representative for Liberty County Municipal Utility District No. 15, to recover unpaid election services totaling $6,862.57. County staff said multiple payment requests had gone unanswered and recommended legal action to protect the county’s limited election operating funds.
