Conway appearance board reinstates Jacqueline as chair, names Mackenzie vice chair

During its regular meeting the Conway Community Appearance Board reinstated Jacqueline as chair after an uncontested nomination and elected Mackenzie as vice chair; both votes were unanimous.
The Conway Community Appearance Board held officer elections during its regular meeting and reinstated Jacqueline as chair after Speaker 2 nominated her and she accepted the nomination. "I am happy to accept," Jacqueline said when asked to accept the nomination, and the board voted to reinstate her.
The board then nominated Mackenzie for vice chair; the nomination was seconded by Doug and approved by voice vote. The presiding officer noted there were no other nominations from the floor for either office.
Board members were reminded that whoever serves as chair or vice chair of this board may not simultaneously serve as chair or vice chair of the tree board, a point staff emphasized during the officer-election discussion.
