"Terms and conditions to be determined by the legal department and authorize the stormwater superintendent to sign on the board's behalf," Speaker 3 said.
Speaker 2 moved to approve the Ecologic LLC contract for 2026 and to authorize the stormwater superintendent to sign; Speaker 1 seconded. After a roll-call vote in which multiple members responded "aye," Speaker 1 announced the motion carried.
The board also approved a second, separate agreement with Ecologic LLC that Speaker 3 described as covering maintenance for the Horseville Road pond, the Pine Creek Triangle native prairie area and the I‑65 pond south of Countywide Road on the east side of I‑65. The not-to-exceed amount recorded in the meeting was $16,785.65 for that scope; Speaker 2 moved to approve and Speaker 1 seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with several "aye" responses.
Board members emphasized that final contract language and all conditions would be set by the legal department and that the stormwater superintendent would execute the contracts after departmental sign-off.
