Judge Executive opened the session and framed the meeting as a short one to handle business efficiently: "Wanna start the year off right with a, quick and get the business done kind of meeting," he said. The court then moved through a consent-style agenda that produced unanimous roll-call approval on items ranging from procedural minutes to equipment purchases.
Major approvals included second and final readings of lighting agreements for Creekside Bend Phase 1 and Stagner Farms Phase 2, an emergency determination of $10,221.47 to Cook's Direct for a convection oven for the jail kitchen (paid from the Securus Capital Improvement Fund at no county cost), and an emergency determination of $63,360 to Stuart Ritchie for emergency power and generator work at the jail.
