Urbana BPAC keeps third‑Tuesday 7 p.m. schedule, directs creation of three working groups

The City of Urbana Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission voted Dec. 16 to continue holding its regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers for 2026. Chair Annie Adams opened the meeting and noted the commission’s intent to be inclusive and collaborative: "I call this meeting to order at 7PM ish on 12/16/2025," she said.

Carmen Franks moved the motion to adopt the schedule and it was seconded; the motion passed by voice vote. Commissioners emphasized the need for flexibility when city holidays conflict with the chosen date and asked staff to publicize any changes in advance.
