BARC tells Campbell County supervisors it has raised more than $1.2 million for new animal shelter

Patty recognized BARC volunteers and board members in the audience and said the group looks forward to continuing the project work in 2026.
Board members thanked BARC for the update and praised the organization’s volunteer effort and fundraising success. Chair Lawton said the county must now work to translate the fundraising into the next implementation steps and logistics for the shelter project.
