Board affirms County of Los Alamos open meetings resolution

At its Jan. 14 meeting the Board of Public Utilities conducted the required public hearing and affirmed the County of Los Alamos Open Meetings Resolution (resolution 26-01), a procedural item establishing minimum standards for notice to the public for council, county boards, commissions and appointed county committees.
Staff asked whether there had been substantive changes since the prior year; none were identified. The board received no public comment during the hearing. A board member moved to affirm the resolution, the motion was seconded, and roll call recorded unanimous support.
The affirmation implements the board'level confirmation required each year after council adoption and was recorded as passing 5-0.
