Fullerton honors retiring Superintendent Dr. Bob Pletka; Jenna Bright named Parks Junior High principal

The board announced that Jenna Bright, who had been serving as interim principal, will take the permanent principal post at Parks Junior High. Bright told the meeting she lives in the community, has worked in the district since student teaching, and is “beyond blessed to be able to continue working here and leading Parks.” She introduced family members at the dais.
Several community organizations and volunteers joined the remarks. Joanne Cho, president of the Fullerton Council of PTAs, noted PTA membership numbers and urged continued family engagement across the district. Multiple staff and student recognitions — including the evening’s Dream Catchers student awards — preceded the retirement tributes.
