The Lancaster County Planning Commission on Jan. 20 elected Shelley Richards to serve as chair and Juliana Tinklenberg as vice chair for 2026, approved the meeting agenda and multiple sets of minutes, and adjourned.
Commissioners approved the meeting agenda by show of hands, 6–0. The commission then approved the Nov. 18, 2025 minutes after discussion about a written complaint that a commissioner said was not reflected in the draft minutes; county legal staff said the submitted complaint was determined by administration to be outside planning commission business. The Nov. 18 minutes were approved following the chair’s call for a vote. The Dec. 16, 2025 and Jan. 8, 2026 minutes were later approved, each by unanimous voice vote.
The chair called for a motion to adjourn at the close of business; the motion carried and the meeting ended.
Meeting materials, including revised minutes and the posted agenda, were provided to commissioners and made available on the county website.
