The board discussed a proposed contract to operate and program the Otter Creek soccer fields and asked staff to incorporate operational details including vending rights, restroom facilities, security access and parking into the agreement.
Staff said the contract is not yet finalized and that concerns raised by directors — including whether food trucks will be allowed and how concessions will be managed — can be built into the contract language. "The contract has not been fully written. This is just approval to get to that point and process," staff said.
Sean Paul, who will help run programming, described Wolves Academy plans to expand youth age groups and add competitive teams while allowing a legacy local operator (Pepe/Mexark) to continue under partnership arrangements. The board asked staff to ensure adequate restroom capacity and maintenance provisions are included in the final contract.
