"We are purchasing 180 Dell Pro 13 laptops at a cost of $1,025 each for a total cost of $184,500, which we have in our budget," he said.
The board moved and seconded the purchase authorization, and the chair announced the motion carried. Staff said the laptops will be ordered and deployed in time for the start of the next school year.
Procurement will use the cooperative purchasing agreement; staff said the vendor is Veil Marketing LP and that lifecycle replacement is expected to be four years.
