John Kilgore, introduced by the chair, told the Livingston County Board he is serving as the interim director of the Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council after Adam Dantz departed for Washington, D.C.
Kilgore said he is working part time through June 30 while also filling an interim superintendent role in Paxton, and that the EDC executive committee and chairman Mark Dekierzkeeter are leading the search for a permanent director. "I picked up the phone as I did earlier this week and changed my day, to be... here," Kilgore said, adding he would make himself available to board members and provide updates as needed.
Board members thanked Kilgore for stepping in and noted their appreciation for his willingness to serve on a part-time basis while the EDC completes its search.
