School building committee says new high school construction came in under budget; Curtis Corner fields stay on separate $11 million track

The Curtis Corner athletic fields were described as a separate budget item with an $11 million constraint; the project team is preparing construction documents to go out to bid to a contractor other than Gilbane, with the goal of opening facilities in 2027. Perdosa said demolition bids for Curtis Corner included both full demolition and options that preserve parts of the site so the project team could compare price points; no decision has been made about preservation.
