Summary
Xavier Bradford’s parole was revoked after the panel found the May 2025 incident and his blackout explanation, combined with prior convictions and law-enforcement opposition, posed an unacceptable risk to the public.
The Committee on Parole revoked the parole of Xavier Bradford (DOC 766755) Jan. 15 after an interview concerning a May 2025 incident in Texas that was reduced to a class C assault.
Bradford told the panel he was undergoing mental-health issues and had not been consistently taking prescribed medication after release; he said he ‘‘blacked out’’ during the incident and later obtained insurance to reestablish care. Bradford’s partner (Miss Carver) said she had not previously seen him act that way and said he later obtained insurance and proper care.
Panel members pressed on whether Bradford’s blackout and medication gaps presented a public-safety risk and pointed to prior convictions and law-enforcement opposition. One member said, “I’m just kinda scared that you black out again and start hurting somebody,” and voted to revoke. The panel voted to revoke parole based on the nature of the events and concerns about public safety.
The board recorded the revocation and instructed corrections staff to process the return to custody and related supervision notifications.
