Coffee County Authority approves county as EMS provider for Bonnaroo

The Coffee County Authority voted on Jan. 15 to serve as the primary EMS provider for the Bonnaroo event. Doctor Tressler moved to serve as the provider; participants indicated Missy Dunsell voiced the second. The chair called the vote and members responded 'Aye.' The chair stated, 'Motion carries.'
Michael (staff) had told the board that Bonnaroo or NES had contacted the county for the usual initial agreement and that, based on current staffing levels, he believed the county could serve as the primary EMS provider again this year. Board members did not register substantive objections during the discussion.
The motion was procedural approval only; Michael said staff will coordinate with event organizers on staffing and logistics and will report back as delivery windows and staffing plans are finalized.
