Merrillville council approves consent agenda and reappoints committee members

At its first regular meeting of 2026, the Town of Merrillville Council approved the consent agenda by voice vote and confirmed several executive and council appointments.

The council moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote with all present members saying "Aye."
