Town administrator: Tamaques Park engagement summary will be posted this week

Town Administrator Jim Gilday told the Westfield Town Council that the community engagement summary report for the Tamaques Park design process will be posted to the town website, marking the next step in a public planning effort.
Gilday said consultant Dresna Robin compiled input from a steering committee, stakeholder groups and several public meetings into a single report. "We've asked them to put together a summary of the public engagement report, everything they've learned through the process," Gilday said.
He said the report will be available for public review and that community feedback will inform concept development and recommendations to the steering committee and the Recreation Commission. Gilday described further steps as the development of concept designs and then recommendations about appropriate first-phase work for implementation.
No formal votes or funding decisions on design concepts were taken at the meeting; the council framed the posting of the engagement summary as a chance for residents to provide input that will shape future design choices and phasing.
