The Redmond Planning Commission on Jan. 14 approved the final 2025 Transportation Master Plan report and voted to forward the document to City Council for a study session and subsequent consideration.
Francesca Liberti, presenting the plan, said the packet contained the final version and noted the Planning Commission recommendation. “As noted in the packet, this is our final version, and has been noted with the planning commission recommendation,” she said. Staff told commissioners they expected a City Council study session in January and that, if the schedule holds, Council could consider action at a February business meeting.
A commissioner moved to approve the report and complimented staff on the work; the motion passed by voice vote. Commissioners said they supported the plan’s neighborhood-scale connections and asked staff to keep coordination with other code and plan updates ongoing as the 2026 docket work progresses.
The Planning Commission’s approval will be included in the packet for City Council consideration; staff noted the Transportation Master Plan now serves as a consolidated place for neighborhood connection projects previously dispersed across multiple neighborhood plans.
