Lancaster ISD police report: 27 vehicle stops in 2025, no racial-profiling complaints

Lancaster ISD Police Department Chief Worley presented the district's 2025 racial-profiling analysis and said the department's policies are reviewed annually to ensure they meet Texas law and Police Chiefs Association best practices.
"This report was filed...with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement," Chief Worley said, and reported that the department conducted 27 motor-vehicle stops in 2025 (largely in school-zone areas), of which 12 were male drivers and 15 were female drivers. He told trustees there were no searches, no arrests on traffic stops, and no use of physical force resulting in bodily injury during those stops. He also reported no racial-profiling complaints for the eighth consecutive year.
Chief Worley said the department's policies and annual procedures are available on the district website and that the report was uploaded following district submission to the state. Trustees did not request additional action during the work session.
Next steps: report remains on record and the department will continue annual policy reviews and reporting as required by state law.
