Sievers told the board the vendor priced a two‑year package and offered a credit for trade‑in of existing Phillips units. “It’s priced for 2 years at $2,001.22,” Sievers said during her presentation; after discussion the motion on the floor recorded a purchase total of $3,848.60 and passed by voice vote. Board members stressed compatibility with emergency medical services; Sievers said data from the AEDs can be downloaded and provided to responding EMS personnel. The board approved the acquisition with a motion and second and the vote carried by voice.
