Bannock County commissioners approved administrative records actions and a consent agenda on Jan. 20.
The board adopted Resolution 2026-6 authorizing destruction of specified agreement files and approved two memos authorizing disposal of records from the sheriff's office and the commissioners' office. Commissioners then approved the broader consent agenda by voice vote.
During consent items, staff reported the county completed the Kimpore Tower purchase and did not need to use the previously authorized contingency of up to $1,000 for closing costs. Commissioners asked that the county's communications/asset staff meet with site users to draft memorandums of understanding and discuss proposed fees for entities that will share the site.
Next steps: staff will circulate MOUs and proposed fee structures for commissioner review.
