Essex County supervisors on Jan. 13 voted to approve a budget action form for a VADI reimbursement related to broadband work and adopted several smaller budget transfers.
The board approved the VADI reimbursement tied to state contributions (identified at the meeting as $475,008.38) after a public hearing was opened earlier in the evening and closed with no speakers. The motion to approve the budget action form was made and seconded and passed by voice vote.
Supervisors also approved moving proceeds from recent vehicle sales into the Fleet Management Fund; staff discussed the proceeds as roughly $38,008.12. The board voted to authorize the transfer after a motion and voice vote.
Two separate transfers of $450 each were approved to cover certified supervisors-course costs for the at-large and north supervisors; both motions passed by voice vote.
All motions on these matters were moved, seconded and approved by voice votes. The board also approved the consent agenda earlier in the meeting.
