City of Auburn communications staff used their podcast to highlight recurring and new community events and to encourage resident participation.
Jonathan Weber said the city holds a monthly blood drive outside City Hall — typically early in the month on a Tuesday — and noted the next scheduled drive mentioned on the episode was Feb. 10. "We actually have 1 this coming week, but by the time people listen to this, they won't get to that. It'll be over, but there is 1 the following month, February 10," he said. Weber described giveaways and raffles conducted by Bloodworks and urged residents to donate.
Weber also announced Love Run, a Valentine’s-month fun run on Saturday, Feb. 7, at West Grove Park. Registration details were not provided on the air; Weber said early registrants can receive a T-shirt. The hosts framed Love Run as inclusive and appropriate for walkers and families.
In a trivia segment reviewing 2025, hosts named Pet Palooza as Auburn’s highest-attended event of the year, estimating about 12,000 attendees at Game Farm Park. They also noted two newly introduced community offerings: Food Truck Tuesday (sometimes described as Taco Tuesday on-air) and Party on the Plaza, both launched in late spring of 2025. Weber encouraged residents to consult Auburn at Play and the Auburn Magazine for event listings and local program information.
The podcast did not include registration links or payment details; listeners were directed to follow city social media and email alerts for logistical updates.
