Lennox council approves consent agenda and passes FY2026 appropriations ordinance

The Lennox City Council approved its consent agenda and passed Ordinance 663, the fiscal year 2026 appropriations ordinance, on second reading.
City staff noted consent-agenda item 3.12 is the final change order and pay application for the Central Basin 4 project and that a small number of subcontractor invoices (Burlington Northern and Stockwell, among others) may still arrive before final closeout. "For the most part, this will close up the contractors portion of that project," staff said.
Council members moved and seconded approval of the consent agenda; a roll call was taken and the motion carried. Later in the meeting Mayor Cosswell presented Ordinance 663 as unchanged from the first reading and the council approved the second reading by voice vote.
Council members and staff did not identify any amendments to the appropriations ordinance during the meeting. The council's approvals conclude routine business and allow staff to proceed with project closeout steps and budget implementation.
