Lafayette’s City Council on Jan. 6 appointed Brianna Lehman to the Planning Commission to fill a vacancy through Nov. 30, 2029. An interview committee that reviewed seven applicants told the council its top two candidates were Brianna Lehman and Brian Wong and the panel ultimately recommended Lehman as the first choice.
Council moved to appoint Lehman immediately; the motion passed unanimously. Panel members cited Lehman’s background in architecture/construction and knowledge of water considerations as factors in the recommendation. Councilors thanked the interview panel and noted the strong applicant pool.
