Eureka City recognizes two students for calm response to campus medical emergency

He also praised Jacob’s calmness and situational awareness.
Wiegand invited the students to the dais to receive chief’s civilian letters of recognition and suggested the letters could be included with job applications or resumes. Council members and others in the room offered congratulations and noted the value of career-technical education for producing students who can perform on the job immediately.
The recognition concluded with photos and brief remarks from attendees underscoring the role of local training programs in preparing students for emergency response.
