South 1st Street resident praises CRHA help and Youth Link program

During the public-comment portion of the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority meeting, resident Terry Taberty of South 1st Street thanked staff for their assistance with his reasonable-accommodation housing search and described a Youth Link program he observed at South 1st Street.
"CRHA has been making progress and trying to work on finding me a place in regards to my reasonable accommodations. I'm actually very excited about that, and I appreciate even though it's taking a while, I appreciate their help," Taberty said. He also said he received a flyer about Youth Link and that neighborhood youth participated in an event that day.
Board members acknowledged the comment, the public-comment period closed with no additional speakers online or in the room, and the board moved to adjourn.
