Beech Grove City Schools honors students and athletes at April 8 board meeting

Hornet Park staff described first grader Yasmin as a class leader who helps classmates and cares for her younger sister. Central Intermediate staff honored Kenley Gonzales for daily leadership and respect. Coach Casey Kessner recognized freshman Addison “Addie” Korn as the athlete of the month after a rare opening-weekend showing that included her first high-school home run and a grand slam; Kessner cited early-season stats of seven hits in 13 at-bats and nine RBIs.
