NCDOT reports salt storage, paving completions and speed‑limit review for Sampson County

DOT staff noted a speed‑limit increase across a division line on NC 24 and said county staff submitted a review to regional traffic, which must approve before the board of transportation acts and signs are changed. School‑zone speed reductions on US 421 (Union Intermediate and Union High School) are under study; DOT is coordinating with Sampson County Schools to collect required information.
