She asked board members and the community to remind voters to return ballots by Nov. 4 and to consider canvassing on Sunday, Nov. 2; the campaign planned a canvassing kickoff that day at Lakeridge High School.
Board members praised the organization and heavy volunteer involvement, including substantial student participation at events. Organizers said a district foundation phone campaign earlier had raised significant funds; the superintendent earlier in the meeting noted the Lake Oswego Schools Foundation raised $745,000 in a separate fundraiser.
The campaign said it will evaluate the final push and return to the community with results after the election.
