Presenters called several honorees by name and described their roles. From Highlands Elementary, honorees included Tambria Shaw (fourth-grade teacher), Anna Vasquez (in-class support paraprofessional), Hilda Snow (facility lead recognized for opening the new building), Annette Reyna (cafeteria manager) and first-grade student Ian Dacus, described as embodying campus learner-profile traits.
Porter Elementary honorees included Aurora Garcia (cafeteria staff), Richard Menchu (custodial and technology support), Miss Luna (Title I paraprofessional supporting interventions and clinic/back-up nurse duties), Ms. Martinez (fourth-grade dual-language teacher) and fifth-grade student Gustavo Gallellos, who was recognized for leadership roles including student council and safety patrol.
