Summary
At the Dec. 8 meeting the board approved the consent agenda, authorized a $679,352.95 purchase of security video camera equipment (Ednetics MTG), and approved adjustments to the director council and nonrepresented staff salary schedule.
The Clover Park School District board on Dec. 8 approved several routine and fiscal items, including a $679,352.95 purchase authorization for phase 4 of the district’s security camera project and adjustments to director council and nonrepresented staff salary schedules.
Superintendent Banner told the board the district followed the solicitation process required under RCW 39.34 and recommended awarding the contract to the lowest responsive bidder, Ednetics MTG. Banner presented the purchase amount as $679,352.95 plus Washington sales tax; the total includes a 5% contingency. The board voted to approve the purchase authorization.
Separately, the board approved adjustments to the director council and nonrepresented staff salary schedules to reflect comparable increases in cost-of-living (implicit price deflator) and to keep nonrepresented salaries aligned with represented staff increases.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved the consent agenda (items 26-036 through 26-044) by unanimous voice vote. The board also conducted officer elections (see related timeline) and later recessed into an executive session to discuss the superintendent’s negotiated contract.
