Kenston PTO reports $38,000 fundraiser, more than 750 members; council funds programs and Spiritware store

She said a recent district fundraiser raised over $38,000 and that funds support activities including teacher grants, staff appreciation events, family nights, middle-school academic awards, senior breakfast and STEM week. She also described "Bomber Hanger," the Spiritware store run entirely by PTO volunteers; Holodinsky said 100% of Spiritware proceeds are returned to the individual PTOs.
Why it matters: PTO funds underwrite enrichment and noninstructional supports that school staff and families value. "All of these donations allow PTO to support programs throughout the district," Holodinsky said.
District response: Board and administrative members thanked the PTO for volunteer support and fundraising efforts. No board action was required.
