"I have one item on my report ... it's a 5 year agreement," Beard said.
Alderman Large Oldenow moved to approve the resolution; Alderman Heath seconded. The clerk called the roll and recorded affirmative votes from Alderman Cook, Alderman Heath, Alderman Henry, Alderman Lockman, Alderman Oldenetl, Alderman Reuben DeSellis, Alderman Scott and Alderman Speed. The mayor declared the motion carried.
The resolution authorizes the City to enter the intergovernmental agreement with the State of Illinois to provide maintenance for the named portions of Diamond Grove Cemetery. The council did not discuss specific maintenance actions, funding details or departmental responsibilities at the meeting.
