The City of Norman City Council on Oct. 14 unanimously approved routine business items including the minutes of prior meetings and a consent docket covering items 3 through 34. The council also acknowledged a mayoral proclamation recognizing October 2025 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Norman.
Mayor Holman introduced the proclamation and invited representatives from the Women's Resource Center to the podium. A representative accepted the proclamation and thanked the council, noting local services and the importance of ongoing awareness and support for survivors.
