Board approves two operator licenses after brief review

The Village of Waukesha board approved operator licenses for two applicants during the meeting.
Hannah Hastings appeared before the board to address concerns raised on her application. Hastings said she had completed alcohol treatment in the past, discussed ongoing counseling and told the board she has been working at the establishment for more than a year and already serves drinks under supervision. “I’ve already been serving drinks... this is just kind of the next step for me,” Hastings told the board.
After members questioned whether approving an operator license was appropriate given her history, a trustee moved to approve and a second was received. The board voted unanimously to grant Hastings the operator license.
The board then considered an application for Paige Ebert. Trustees confirmed the required paperwork was in order and unanimously approved Ebert’s operator license.
No additional conditions were placed on either license.
