- Small-business and workforce agreements: The board approved FY2025–26 funding for Prospera to provide bilingual small-business consulting and training, and a funding agreement with the University of Central Florida Research Foundation/National Entrepreneur Center for business education and trade services.
- Economic development incentives: Commissioners approved amendments to the city’s incentive program to emphasize performance-based payments tied to completed investments and job creation.
- Legislative priorities and travel: The commission adopted its 2025–26 legislative priorities—including requests for appropriations for a police evidence-room project ($750,000 requested), a Berlinski Community Center rebuild, and North Kissimmee stormwater improvements—and authorized travel for the mayor and select officials to the Puerto Rican Mayor Summit in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
Several appointments closed out the meeting: commissioners filled Planning Advisory Board vacancies to restore quorum.
